Birthdays

We have had a fun few months of birthdays! Gracie's was last month. I'll have to share some video of the cuteness she is! She wanted Hello Kitty theme. She got a new two wheeler bike (with training wheels of corse). She rides like a pro. Parker's was just last week. We had the grandparents over for cake and ice cream on his birthday. Last night we went to a Japanese Hibachi Grill in Provo. That was awesome. I was so nervous our kids would turn up their noses and we would of wasted all that money. Parker and Gracie LOVED it. They made the food right in front of us and the kids were amazed. They loved the chopsticks. Parker ate his plate clean!! Even the shrimp. Clint caught the shrimp in his mouth. Today we had a Star Wars Party for Peanut. This is his first birthday party with friends.



Parker is doing great in school. He started Kindergarten this year. He is zooming through his homework everynight. He loves to read. He had to stay in from recess once because he was still working on a coloring page. He was pretty upset about that and has learned not to do that again! He sure loves recess. I went to his classroom for his birthday/everyday hero and taught the class a little about him. It was really fun. The teacher is great. They really have a fun time with her.




Well, the end is near for this third pregnancy of mine. I get nervous almost everyday that this could be "the day". I'm 37 weeks today so I'm pretty sure anyday would be safe and fine with me. I am so ready. This has been the hardest of the three pregnancies but I am so excited to meet baby Oliver! Just need a few more things and I'll be set to me a mom again! Parker and Gracie are excited too, Gracie will be the diaper changer and Parker wants to be the bathing man. I wonder what they think is happening because we keep talking about him coming but he never comes!! Everytime I go to the Dr. (which is weekly now) they ask if the doctor is taking the baby out. It makes me laugh.

Were just about finished with Parker's room. We decided to go with Toy Story Theme. I think the blue is pretty crazy but it was a mix up or mismatch paint can (whatever you call it) from Walmart and it only cost me $3.88!! I think it turned out pretty cute. And the stickers are supposed to be removable so when he grows out of Toy Story we can easily put something else up in there. It should last him a few years I hope :) I still have to get a bed spread. Haven't found one I love yet. I want to make a drape or curtain to cover up his exposed closet. For some reason there is no door...weird.
I was telling my sister about all my ideas for Gracie's room and eventually the bathroom downstairs and so on. She said I should go into interior decorating! NO THANKS! I spend hours and hours checking blogs for ideas and planning it out in my head. It would be such a headache. Plus I feel like it's never really my own idea. I put everyone else's ideas into one. Kinda like cheating I think. But on the other hand, it might be a little easier because it's someone else's money! They would obviously have a larger budget then I would since they can hire an interior decorator. It costs me like 10 bucks for the stickers on Parker's wall. A few bucks for hardware in there. I already had the headboard and mattress and frame. I'm pretty proud of myself but I don't think I would want to do it for a living.

Parker's 5 already!

Happy Birthday Peanut!

It's Parker's Birthday today!! He woke and asked if he was 5 today just to make sure. Some pics soon to come.
