Parker goes to the Dentist

Poor little Parker got two little cavities on his two front teeth when he was littler and fortunately we have been able to brush them well and keep them small but we thought he would be old enough to reason with at the dentist. He did great for the first appointment with the cleaning and got a sweet prize. Second time was a different story. He did fine with "poike" he calls it (the shot) and a few seconds of drilling but then he started freaking out. Two hours of trying later, we decided to give him some "sleepy medicine" and try again in a few weeks after he would of hopefully forgotten about most of what had happened. These pictures of him, after taking the "sleepy medicine", waiting in the lobby at the Dentist. He was just making himself right at home! They have homemade bread there while you wait and Parker is eating some strawberry bread. He ate almost the whole loaf. He was so funny on this medicine. It didn't really help much, he just got more hyper. Until he feel asleep about two more hours later. So we hurried and stuck the gas on him to get him into a deeper sleep and busted out those cavities. He woke up near the end as we were polishing them. Couldn't of been better timing! Now he has a pretty smile!
